  One hot day in Summer 2013, Yasemin and Grace, cousins, went swimming. And, surprisingly, that's where it all started.

  As it was just the two of them in the pool, it quickly became boring. Diving can become rather tedious, you know.

  So they decided to do what they had done when they were very little children: pretend to be other people.

  Grace quickly decided she would be Lily; her go-to name for stories and such. Upon hearing that, Yasemin came up with the simple named Pad, and suggested they start a band - Lilypad.

  So they did, and it was fun. But they couldn't stay in the pool forever.

  That's when the idea struck: what if Lily and Pad were Sims?

  Best. Idea. EVER.

  Ahem.

  After numerous Skype calls and screen shares, Grace and Yasemin had finally gotten to the point where Lily and Pad had moved out, and were now playing their children.

  We're starting from the beginning, though. We don't want it to be confusing.
